Deconstructing an Old Master Painting Using Photoshopʼs
Advanced Toolset.
Abstract:
An old master painting is a highly ‘made’ thing and
every aspect of its appearance has been subject to
careful consideration and evaluation before its
manufacture. These aspects can be very hard to grasp
but using Photoshop’s advanced toolset they can be
visualized and made easier for the student of art
history to visualize. Interesting applications of the
Adjustments menu, the blend modes and different color
spaces will all be covered.
